FIVE: Our Inner Room

There is a space within each and every one of us where God dwells. No matter where we go or what we do, he is always there. In order to reach that Inner Room, we must slow down, listen, and accept God's invitation. Are you accepting God's invitation?

The inner room image reminds me of the Holy of Holies, the inner-most room of the Temple, where the Ark of the Covenant was kept, which was the physical symbol of God's presence among his people. I have that inside of me???? Cool!!!

It is sort of like God is inside the present he gives to us, and he is waiting to come out when we open it. We open it through cherishing and honoring the invitation we are given.

Am I accepting God's invitation? I try, but know I am not always successful!
